„Intercultural Communication for International Students“

Students from various countries are enrolled as Master- or Ph.D. students at German universities. On the one hand they have to cope with the German language and culture and at the same time they have to find out how to communicate with their international fellow students in their study programmes. The common language is almost always English, but body language, when to pause and how to be polite are behaviours that we take from our first language and culture. This can lead to misunderstandings or even prejudices.
The venue for our opening night in January has already been booked! Now we only need: the play, actors, dramatic advisors, directors, light designers, dressmakers, musicians, organizational geniuses, stage designers, film makers, … in short interested students who are willing to get this project going.
We will – in coproduction with the Keller Theatre – pick a play, put it on stage and perform it.
